Remember back in the ‘80’s when Banana Republic was a fun, safari filled store? Jeeps and elephants anyone? Well, if you do, here is a little treasure that I’ve always kept from way back when. A small Vachetta full grain leather crossbody pouch that can also be slipped on a belt. Full grain leather is the highest quality of leather you can find. It is the outer layer of the hide that has not been sanded or buffed to remove imperfections. It is prized for its natural grain and texture, which gives it a distinctive look and patina that develops over time. Embossed is the original logo of a star and two bananas. Made in Brazil, back before everything they sell turned to being made in China. Full grain leather, unlined, simplicity at its best. Lightweight, about 6.5” wide, 4.5” tall, 1” deep. Crossbody strap is 52” long but it’s knotted inside so you can shorten and adjust it to your liking. Please look closely at the pictures as there is some natural wear to the leather adding to the character. Stitching is intact, no major wear or noticeable scratches. Non-smoking, dog friendly home.
