The brindle dog was Taz. He was a 120 goofball. His favorite activity was escaping our yard in record time & "visiting" his friends. He was highly intelligent and would find weaknesses in our fence so he could go gallivanting around town. The police knew he was...I don't condone people with loose dogs & I was that person. This dog was smarter than me...he would escape in a few seconds...then he would sit on his friends' porches if they weren't home. Taz would be waiting for Maria in the cold so the neighbor who told me this who lived across would bring him in her house for treats by the fireplace! LOL! I remember one time Gabe said "Who the heck is Maria"? I told him one of Taz's friends. Anytime an unfamiliar, random name was brought up we all assumed it was one of Taz's friends! LOL!

maximumfashion dogs are so amazi g. our golden was dying but hung on until her girl (my daughter) had her baby and brought baby home. then she let go. very amazing 👏

annamartone they are both beautiful furbabies. I had a Collie named Dakota many years ago when I was in my 30s. The smartest and most loving ❤️ dog I ever had.

annamartone @rebbyreb99 ...I almost named mine Lassie, but I had a Dogde Dakota truck, so that's how he got his name. Dakota was the sweetest dog ever. He absolutely loved children also.

mysticrose29 Aww!! We had a dog like this once when I was young. Brandy would leap the fence & go running around town - usually to my dad's worksites. Unfortunately, Brandy didn't always know when my dad finished a job & would still run back to previous sites sometimes. One time, we realized he was missing & called the answering machine at the most recent worksite, leaving the message: "Brandy, come home! Brandy - go home now!"... About 15min later, he hopped the fence back into the yard... 😅🤦🏻‍♀️💕
