This charming vintage bracelet's links are tiny naval flags. Each sterling silver flag is enameled with a symbol that stands for a letter of the alphabet, spelling out a secret message. These bracelets were quite fashionable during World War II; they often bore generalized endearments, but this one is unique as it spells out “Grand Hotel.” So sweet, and the colorful, graphic designs of the maritime flags give the piece a fun, sporty feel. Circa 1940.
The bracelet measures 8" long and 0.41" wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewelry, it is a part of its charm!

@maryannellen4 the bracelet is not marked, but I tested it with a magnet and it is not magnetic, so not silver plated
