Vintage Mens Wool Leather Sleeve Varsity Jacket - Maroon with Yellow Patches. This vintage letterman jacket has a boiled Wool torso with tonal Leather sleeves and Chenille patches at the left chest and right sleeves. Based on the WPL number of 8936 (Delong Sportswear), I would estimate this jacket to have originally been manufactured somewhere in the 1950s. Constructed in a straight /open hem jacket style with spread pointed collar. Features full snap button front with tonal buttons, large Chenille letter "T" at the left chest, vintage styled Chenille Tiger head at the right sleeve shoulder, front slash hand warmer pockets with tonal leather trim, leather sleeves with soft ribbed wrist cuffs and fully lined interior. Condition: Excellent vintage condition w/ signs of wear consistent with light pre-owned use and vintage nature. Some wrinkling / creasing to the leather wrists and brand label tag has been cut out. Otherwise the leather sleeves are in excellent condition with no scuffing, scratches or stains. The wool torso and interior lining is in near pristine vintage condition with no stains, holes, pilling or other issues.
