From 1949 to 1961 this popular Kodak Brownie was manufactured in Rochester, New York. It was a first camera for many families and millions of treasured archives have proof of this in shoe boxes all over the country. My repurposing of this wonderful camera is as a quirky pencil holder. It is made of Bakelite with a cloth lined cavity, the fabric will vary but I like animal prints. With rubber feet on the bottom, this will be a unique addition to any desk, bar, hostess stand or kitchen counter. Its 3 1/2 X 4" dimensions will fit nicely almost anywhere but can hold pencils, pens, highlighters and scissors neatly. Students, photographers, car salesman and even my mother-in-law love this unique pencil holder! Now is your chance to love it also...I promise you will.
