This is a unique pair of never-worn Australian boots from 1945 with full upper and lower stitched leather construction, metal heels, and new leather laces. The leather is in superb condition with some minor discolorations and marks from years of storage. Please note the original brass cleats have been removed from this pair of boots (see photo of example boot with cleats and with cleats removed). Check out our shop for other sizes and styles.
These solid boots look great on both men and women. As you can see, the soles are thick and are somewhat rigid but do break in nicely over time.
Originally made in Australia in 1944 and 1945, they were destined for the Commonwealth forces during World War II and then purchased as unused surplus by Harry Trim in Adelaide, Australia. For the next 70+ years, the boots sat in wax-paper-sealed unopened crates (see photo) in a warehouse until they were purchased and brought to the United States and are now available to you.

Hi @andithedreamer - Just rechecked and insole is right about 9 14/16 inches (9.875 inches) General feedback has been that, even being 70+ years old, the boots are true to size. Happy to answer any other questions.
