Not only is this set extremely beautiful, it is extremely rare. These sets date back to Soviet Ukraine during the 1960s and were sold as souvenirs to tourists. These beautiful display pieces come from a place that is not far from Lviv and about 10 miles away from town of Yavoriv that was hit by Russia a few times. This 8 piece set was hand crafted and hand painted using acrylics by Ukrainian artists. Each piece is slightly different from one another in its sculpting and design. No two are alike. The set is made of wooden and has a glossy varnish finish both inside and outside. The colors on the set are so beautiful that the pictures do not do it justice.
