The art of reverse painting on Butterfly Wings began in the 1920s. Thomas Mott was credited with bringing this unique reverse painting on butterfly wings to the public. It was in 1922 that Shipton Co of England applied for the patent (202212 & 202213) for the design of using actual Butterfly Wings for the production of pictures to be displayed in pendants, brooches, rings, etc..
Own a real piece of history! Just add your favorite chain to make it uniquely you! (the pendant goes beautifully with the Kelly Clinton dress I have on sale. Bundle and save!).
