This doll is new in box. 1984 Vintage Original Cabbage Patch doll with birth certificate and adoption papers. My mom bought this when I was a a little girl and we weren't allowed to touch it. It has sat in her closet since. The story goes that the rips on the back of the box happened when someone tried to rip the box out of my mom's hands at the local K-Mart! The plastic covering on the front is a bit dusty and coming loose a bit. Please see photos.
