Absolutely adorable, very thick and warm and cottage core to the MAX! The shawl collar wraps up on the neck as high or low as you choose to put it but adds a great deal of warmth on a super cold or windy day. This is like wearing a darling blanket wrapped around you to keep you warm, all the while making you look so cute! Two big front pockets for keys, phone or dog treats! Wear this sitting on your porch sipping coffee in late fall or wear to the grocery store! You will get stopped by people everywhere you go! I am a quilt coat collector and I can’t go anywhere that I’m not stopped repeatedly by people complimenting me and wanting to know more about the handmade treasures. This was custom made for me, pit to pit is about 25 inches, total length is about 45.5. The sleeve length from the shawl collar at the neck to end of sleeve cuff is about 30 inches. This coat is in excellent vintage (based on the quilts age) condition and has been worn one time. It’s important to remember that quilts this age can have small flaws, spots, thread pulls etc but I am unaware of any specific places like that on this coat. This is truly a quilt coat dream!
