These are in good to excellent used vintage condition - no defects or blemishes aside from patina common in these vintage pieces. Please know that I'm 99% sure of the following information, but do not have verification. Vintage French silver plate over pewter vs brass salt and pepper shaker pair of birds (likely quail). I thought they were pewter, but a shopper drew my attention to the fact that these might in fact be brass. They do lean a little more yellow, on second look! Unsure! Mid century Vintage from the 1960s Adorable set of vintage bird salt and pepper shakers from France. Removable plastic caps on the undersides for refilling, the insides are also plastic lined to protect the metal against corrosion from contact with salt. 1 hole in the top of the pepper shaker; 3 holes in the top of the salt shaker. Approximate measurements: 3" wide at widest, 3.5" beak to tail, 2.5" tall.
