WB Casket trinket jewelry box

Antique W. B. Manufacturing Company Brass Jewelry Casket #387 Weidlich Brother (W.B. Mfg. Co) colonial designed metal jewelry casket patent in 1913. These wonderful jewelry boxes were much treasured items of the early 1900's. This casket has original fabric on lid and in center. Box is decorated with flowers and leaves on all sides. Box measures approx. 4.5" x 2.5" across center with base (feet) measuring approx. 4 3/4" x 3". This metal casket is heavy, weighing about 1 1/4 pounds. Metal has wonderful patina and has not been cleaned. Tiny key lock in center but no key. Hinges are in excellent condition. Box also has a name etched in it "Laura Schomas" on the bottom, and on the top is a letter "E" also etched in the top part. See pics
