These are handmade in Scapoose Oregon. I got them made for my wife for $550 but she’s not interested in breaking them in. Worn once. My loss is your gain. They are Chukka boots built with full grain rough-out charcoal leather and have a black leather liner. The heel stack is leather. The outsole is Vibram 100, full lug. The construction method is 270 degree double stitch-down. Once broken in and molded to your foot, they’ll be the most comfortable shoes. Sizing is men’s 6.5D or women’s 8.5. Wesco runs big so if you wear a women’s 9, I expect these would fit good. If you’re an 8.5 and prefer wool socks, that’d be a good match as well.

@esond11 thank you for the offers but these are handmade shoes from here in Portland Oregon and were $545 new.

@mpriddy13 can you give me a heel to toe measurement?
mpriddy13
@humoroushuman outsole heel to toe is 11.25”; however, heel to toe of the shoe (vamp to counter) is 10.5” FYI, if you buy these this morning I can ship today. Otherwise, I’m leaving town this evening for the rest of the year.

@mpriddy13 thank you so much for your time, I do believe these will be too big for me. I was really hoping that wasn't going to be the case. I'm generally a women's size 8 and in some cases I can wear an eight and a half depending on the shoe. but I know Wesco is a heavier boot and if I get it too big it'll just be too clunky and uncomfortable. so thank you again.

@humoroushuman probably would have too much heel slip. No worries, happy holidays!

Are these definitely women's? That 10.5" foot length got me wondering if it might fit my 8.5 brannock feet?

I keep hearing different opinions on how large these different American boot brands run and depending on the year they were made too.
mpriddy13
@mattass93 hello, they’re 6.5D in men’s. They run bigger than redwings. I suppose it’d come down to preference on fit. I imagine they’d be snug in your case.
