Aritzia's perennially bestselling elegant Cyprie mock neck sweater in "tamarind," which came out c.2017-18 and I coveted ever since. Like a golden honey camel or caramel. Similar to, but not as orangey as the "rich chestnut" colorway from fall/winter 22/23. Mock neck with slight slouch/drape. Dropped shoulders. Slightly cropped. Finally let myself buy this secondhand after missing out on it 3 times in the last 2 years. I could see it was slightly shrunken, something apparently common with the Cyprie, but I didn't account for my not so slender upper arms. It does not accommodate them. After a couple months of being unable to wear it, I soaked & stretched it using instructions from an alpaca retailer & was able to increase the length from about 17.5" to 19" but the upper arms are still too tight for me. Lower, ribbed portion of sleeves has some stretch.Only letting go because I just bought it in a bigger & unshrunk size. Yes, I like it so much I bought the same sweater in the same color, twice. Also note, when I received the sweater, it smelled overwhelmingly like detergent. Just one soaking reduced the detergent scent by at least 80%.
