Can you tell me shoulder and bust in inches please

The shoulders are actually pretty roomy, when I measure across the front, the shoulders measure out to 17 inches across, so I have would say 34 inches, but when I slip it on, my shoulders fit fine and I am now a size 12. The chest I would say fits up to a 38” chest. I am now a 42 chest and I can’t button it, (not even close) so it is about 3-5 inches too small for me.
