The shell is hip length with a mesh lining for breathable comfort. There is an inside chest pocket and it cinches at the waist from the inside. On the outside there are five pockets! Yes five and all zip closed. There is a D-ring on the left chest so things like a lift ticket can be attached to the front of the jacket. Cuffs are Velcro close and elastic for ease of off and on. The sleeves are Columbia’s raglan Radial sleeve for ease of movement. There is a snap on off hood with toggle drawstring and it is contoured for close fit with a Velcro close.
