VINTAGE * and yet another "one of a kind" from my "Flower Child" days. This one is a thicker BLACK VELVET CHOKER Necklace (only about 12", but there's a silver extender at the back) ~ with a HUGE Faux EMERALD pendant. It's BRIGHT EMERALD GREEN (duh!) ~ smooth on top but FACETED on the sides ~ pear shaped ~ in a gold-tone bezel (also a photo of the back). I assume nothing is "real" here (meaning the gold, silver extender & end-caps, and emerald) ~ but the point is just stand out and be for FUN! The rich BLACK and BRIGHT GREEN will get you lots of compliments ~ and the "Emerald" will probably hang just about at your throat. We're downsizing, so cleaning out my 3 jewelry boxes. The oldest one has lots of jewelry from "back in the day" when I was secretary to a talent management company (1969-1971) on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood (across from Whiskey-A-Go-Go). So, these pieces went to rehearsals, concerts and private parties with Iron Butterfly (I actually designed one of their album covers), Blues Image, 3-Dog Night, and other rock groups. If only you could get them to talk! I can ship up to 5 lbs. in one box for the price of just one listing. So, please look through my closet to see if there's anything else you'd like to get.
