@foreveryoungnyc it looks like the original seller had painted it over. I can see the taupe color under the black. Chanel don’t fade in colors no matter how vintage or old it is, it may peel but never fade especially from black to taupe.
This definitely happens a lot on here and I have experienced the same thing, but luckily I was able to return on time as I reached out and took photos for Poshmark.

@jellson yes you’re definitely right Chanel never changes color no matter how old it is it’s disgusting how some sellers don’t/properly disclose whether they painted the item or not or provide proper details about merchandise taking misleading photos
