Vintage Cobalt Blue 🔵 Mini Swung Vase

c. 1960s Approx measurements 9 3/4 tall width (bottom of base) 2.5 inches top of vase 2 inches A gorgeous cobalt blue and clear, ribbed, mini swung vase. It has 6 fingers on top - if you count the mini pinky! If not - 5 fingers. This style of art glass is beautiful with so many colors to be found and the uniqueness of these vases due to the making process. No 2 vases are alike. They all have little differences and imperfections. The process is mostly hand made. It starts with glass blowing, then it's pressed into a mold and cooled a little. Then it's picked up by the neck and literally swung. It's the swing that creates the freeform fingers at the top of the vase. It's in overall good vintage condition. This one has some imperfection bubbles in the glass. Barely visible, but upon close inspection you can see it might have been dropped - no chip but there's a small crack inside. See photos. It's a great addition to your home as it's a versatile decor piece. It would also make a nice gift for someone into art glass or vintage.
