I AM WILLING TO NEGOTIATE AT THE MOMENT ON THIS PIECE!!! This piece is old. There is no hallmark. I acid-tested it to be solid 10K Yellow gold. The stone the frog is sitting on is black tourmaline. For many cultures, such as ancient Egypt, frogs, and toads represented fertility and were associated with renewal and rebirth. In pre-Colombian Mesoamerica frogs and toads were viewed as spirits of rain. These amphibians were used in many rituals that were thought to bring the rains. Frogs are seen as iconic creatures that symbolize success and good fortune.

chelynne100 @spoonhappy yes its very cool and seems to be pretty old. when I found this piece it was almost black. They say you shouldn't clean old coins and jewelry but I couldn't help myself. It's solid and whoever buys this is getting an extraordinary piece. I hope this little frog finds a home that will appreciate his beauty! ty for browsing my closet😁

chelynne100 @alexgaigg no alex unfortunately i have yet to do that. its been around for many many years and although i trust the person, ibstill took it upon myself to acid test it. came back 10K. If u are really interested in this item, i would be more than happy to take it to a jewler to be verified. Let me know

chelynne100 TYVM. I would love to bargain with u but at the moment, I am trying to find the to take t a jeweler for authentication. Even though I have acid tested the piece several times, I'd be much comfortable selling it with the authentication from a professional. And yes of course we can wiggle. I've had a few ppl inquire on it but solid. I will update once I get the paperwork

hairofthehare please post a video of the acid test. these look like very common brass findings (which anyone can reverse Google image search) glued to a stone. modern and even antique gold will always have a stamp of some kind, even if rudimentary.
