Hi the do you have a photo of the repair/reinforcement from the outside?

@hester555 yeah all of the waist pictures show the outside of the reinforcement. The reinforced belt loops is visible from the inside only. Pants with stretch need belt loops to be double sewn, I've had this same problem with some of my stretchy jeans

@squirrelparty I’ve never seen Eileen Fisher with this crude level of sewing. And the label is in the wrong position in the waistband. I wonder if you might be the victim of a counterfeit seller. Anyways you might want to have that label verified. Hope you didn’t pay to much for these.
