kirsten1982 @nells_closet11 Loungefly bags have tape on there straps when you first get them. It's to keep the straps in place when shipping the bag. I am loungefly retailer. Most of the bags I have the straps are taped like this. With the crossbody bags the straps are inside the bag taped
