A gorgeous, vivid 100% silk midi dress that could have walked off the set of a Mad Men soireé. This dress has seriously groovy vibes, with a high mandarin collar and form fitting silhouette and bright color that quickly recalls the Hollywood cheongsams and qipaos, made so fashionable by stars like Anna May Wong. Has a fun, modest slit in the back with a cute bow! And, pockets! A beautiful, fluid dress, which makes a showstopper out of simplicity. In very good used condition, with just a few threads on the tag loose. It’s dry clean only according to dress label buuuut I’ve washed this in the sink with cold-warm water, and it was fine. Just make sure not to put it in with other clothes, because just like jeans, the color of this will leech a bit. Size 6 Measurements: P2P: 17” Shoulder to shoulder: 16.5” Waist: 13.75” Length: 44.5” Hips: just under 20” I’d keep it, but it’s just a bit too big for me without cinching it as I’ve done here! From an old Hong Kong brand called Dynasty. hjzengerle @aho6 can you provide bust, waist, and hip measurements on this dress please? Thanks!

aho6 @hjzengerle oh I didn’t even realize I’d forgotten to add them to the description!! They should be there now—for the hip measurement, it’s not as tight as a traditional qipao would be. More like they put the bodice and neckline of a qipao (the idea of one, anyway) on top of a more typical western skirt part, which is just a simple, flared-out-from-waist kind of deal.

aho6 Ergo, not bodycon on the hip! It *is* still more sheathlike than an A-line dress, it’s just not as exacting as a regular qipao might be. It will drape fairly slim despite being constructed not bodycon-style. I measured the hip btw about where the pockets are located.
