2 ANTIQUE TEA CUPS A PRESENT FROM A FRIEND SENTIMENTS HAND PAINTED GOLD ACCENTS Rare Antique "A present" and "From a friend" Tea Cup Sentiments, Hand Painted! Gold Accents These special cups were given as gifts by visitors circa the late 1800's - early 1900's before postcards were common. Believed to be pre-1891 because the McKinley Tariff Act of 1891 required that the name of the country where the item was originally made must be printed on each piece. Makes a great gift for the collector! Charming cups feature beautiful hand-painted florals and with gold trim and print sentiments. The colors are still vibrant! Each cup measures approximately 2 1/4" tall with a 1 3/4" diameter. Inscriptions include: "A present" "From a friend" Cups are over 100 years old and may have slight imperfections. Condition is "Used" Condition is good, some loss to the gold accents from age/ use. Please know that most of my items are vintage, meaning they are worn, used, and may have slight imperfections.
