Gorgeous vintage throw-pillow covers from the iconic Ralph Lauren line of cable-knit textile for home decor. Never used and stored neatly in one of these capsule houses where time seemed to stop 20 years ago, they are in impeccable condition, and still have their original retail label with barcode and price attached inside: $200 back then. Crafted in soft cotton, they were dyed in two shades of bright colors, orange and magenta, using the ombré dyeing technique. On one of the covers, magenta merges directly with orange, while for the other it first fades into white, and then white fades into orange. The result looks just like a Rothko painting! :-D Besides this quite stunning color effect, the most notable feature of these pillow covers is their design that mimics an actual cardigan. Discontinued and impossible to find anywhere on the Internet, these unique and collectible cable-knit cushions will add a touch of warmth and coziness to your ensemble, as well as a cheerful pop of color.
