Serve an appetizer and a conversation starter on this Fair Winds "Historical scenes of Chinese export to America" Dinner Plate. Measuring 9 inches in diameter, the illustrations are from Original Copper Engravings and depict Foreign trading headquarters in Canton, NY, in 1815.
The plate features several scenes of Chinese export to America in the center and around it are illustrations of an eagle with the words E. Pluribus Unum written underneath, a scene of the Wall Street Dock New York, a scene of the US Delaware Capturing Le Croyable and a scene of New York Harbor 1830.
Permanent Colors, Made in Staffordshire, England by Alfred Meakin.
Dates Made: 1950s
