Vintage 1940s 50s Ruffled Taffeta Roses Cold Shoulder Garden Party Dress w/Hat This is an amazing vintage dress & matching hat that came from an estate, dating to the late 1940's to early 1950s. It is made of an acetate taffeta with a print of dark pink roses with black velvet trim & bows. Features a ruffle around the shoulders with open peekabo "cold shoulders". The skirt is full, not quite a full circle, and has double ruffles at the hem. Bodice is lined with cotton fabric. The hat is flat with a ruffle and has attached black ties that tie under the chin to hold it into place. Dress fastens up the back with metal eye and hooks. Condition is good, no holes or damage, it has been professionally dry cleaned by a specialist in vintage clothing. It has one stain on the inside of the bodice, can not be seen when worn.
