Super iconic jacket made by Schott NYC. The condition is great for its age, totally structurally sound with no serious rips or tears. All pocket liners are intact and functional, zipper works very well, liner is discolored but fully intact. Great distressing all over the jacket, worn in look. Size 38 (small/medium). The jacket does have an old leather/musty smell but nothing crazy. Typical smell for a 50 year old leather jacket. Measures 20 inches pit to pit and 27 inches in length though the lining is quite thick so this jacket fits true to size. Open to offers

vintagethrift17 @andreas_sale this could absolutely be unisex, in women’s it would be similar to a Medium or Large according to the sizing charts I’ve checked. I can’t take more detailed measurements for you if you’d like

vintagethrift17 @astock221 I’m out of town on business but will be back tomorrow. From what I remember it measures 21 inches pit to pit but the thick insulation makes it fit true to size (38 which is the upper end of a small and lower end of a medium). Length is short, more of an old school fit sits right at the waistband. Again I’ll happily take measurements and post photos tomorrow, thanks for looking!

vintagethrift17 @raymirey I am unsure on the make up of the lining, my cut tells me it’s true sheep’s wool/Sherpa but I cannot say for sure. It is very plush still and I’m sure it’s quite warm. I can do some research and see if and when Schott NYC used real sheep’s wool. Thanks for looking!

vintagethrift17 Quick google search says it’s acrylic, forum I was on said Schott and most other leather companies didn’t do sheepskin liners they would just make the whole jacket from the skin with the leather on the outside and wool on the inside.
