Vintage Azores Pottery Wall Plate Hand Crafted C. Leite Acores

Antique hand crafted, hand painted pottery wall plate from the Azores, Portugal. Measuring 10 3/4 inches in diameter, the plate has a maker's mark, "C. Leite, Acores". The rim is pierced for a wire which makes display very simple. It has survived free of chips or cracks, no repairs. There are numerous crudities, all in the making. That is what makes this plate so appealing. Kiln marks, pock marks, color bleed, all born in the kiln. CH30524
