This box is authentically vintage/antique—circa 1880 as pictured on the card that came in box with key from shop—so it has some natural ware, a scratch on the top, and the bottom is worn. However, this is a rare find and is in exceptional condition for its kind, being from 1880, with the interior wallpaper still intact AS WELL AS THE ORIGINAL KEY. Rare! This box is sturdy and made of beautiful wood with a very unique parquetry design.
