Almost a century later, the questions Freud in Civilization & its Discontents still very much resonate in contemporary society. His thoughts & questions on aggression sent chills up my spine. It seems to foreshadow world events in a way Bradbury did when he wrote Fahrenheit 451. Freud's work is thought-provoking & it poses many philosophical, rhetorical questions. There is much to evaluate in this short work. Intense & thought-provoking. It is very sparsely highlighted so I tried to show the pages I did highlight.
