Primitive Dovetailed copper with hand forged wrought iron handle and hanging hook. This pot was typically used for cooking food over the fire. It has a ring attached to the handle for hanging. Pot has not been cleaned and retains patina with some verdigris to the copper as well. Some imperfections and pitted. No holes. 9” diameter at top, 8-1/2” diameter at base. Exact age unknown. No markings. Estimate age between 1890 and 1920. Beautiful piece for display, flower arrangements and great for wooden spoon collection. A wonderful piece.
