Vintage 1970s blue cotton and gold brocade embroidered caftan maxi dress. This dress boasts long sleeves adorned with simplistic gold embroidery, the back also is very simple in the design, whereas the front is so stunning that it's hard to take your eyes off it. I feel like every time I look I see something new. The front has an opening that has a hook and loop closure, yet still leaves an opening making it very feminine. Absolutely beautiful rich golden metallic detailing all over. It has a Moroccan Bohemian, Yves Saint Laurent style to it. The inside is lined with a polyblend, excluding the sleeves. This stunning gown does have a few issues that need to be fixed: The seams on the side slits need to be repaired as with age they've started to pull, and the neck has a fuzzy spot. There are some loose threads throughout that could easily be snipped off without causing any damage. There are no tags and I believe this to be a small (I'm an xs/s, 5'3 and it fits me comfortably.
