Vintage Red Clay w Blue Flowers Oval Bowl, Serving Dish, Antique Pottery, Blue

Vintage (possibly antique based on crazing) pink ocher glazed oval bowl with blue flower art and a blue half-circle border. The bowl has a slightly irregular, handmade aesthetic. It is soooo pretty! The red clay pottery base blushes through the glaze and produced a warm pinkish pastel ochre tone. The artist has a steady and precise hand and a restrained eye for composition. Would look gorgeous hung up on a wall. It would fit well with: Primitive decor, folk art style, skandi aesthetic, that taupe-ochre look famous in the Southwest usa and would even be at home with a minimalist! It has a mark in back but it hidden by the glaze and I cannot read it (possibly Mexico but several countries produced pottery in similar style. Reminiscent of Lebrillo and Fajalauza as well. Size: 11.75” x 8” x 1.5” Condition: Good vintage condition. A few areas of glaze lift around edge (but this shows the red clay underneath and adds to the look). Fine crazing throughout. Signature occluded by glaze but you could tell something is signed underneath. NPK-28(psh)
