(price will go back to $1900) memento mori reminds us that we will die. this is a fabolous collectible and a substantial size locket. a married piece. the memento mori skull and crossbones is georgian and was likely part of an old mourning piece. it was later added to this beautiful victorian pendant to create a stand out piece! setting is gold locket. enamel pendant is in excellent condition. lovely lustrous pearls surround the stunning banded bullseye agate stone. a small amount of white enamel missing from crossbones. can’t really see without a loupe. there are two diamond eyes— not sure of cut possibly mine cut. oh— it looks like there *may* be four diamonds on the skull. two eyes and two near the crossbones. glass locket opening in back. original grosgrain ribbon still underneath. the ribbon even has that old antique smell ☺️ i do my best to represent all of my items to the best of my ability. some wear consistent with age. all sales final. **actual antique!
