Vintage Famille Verte Jingdezhen Rice Bowl

A finely decorated green ground embellished with Bao Xiang Hua or scrolling lotus flower. It has also been described as “flower of Buddha’s countenance”. The red bat hand painted on the other side represents widespread good fortune. I have a collection of various Chinese rice bowls, two with matching spoons, from an estate sale. Typical flea bites, soft flaws from use over time and glaze misses (glaze bubbles shown).
