You might be interested to check out the Political Science Department faculty at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. California is sinking quickly, and I don't see a rebound in the near future. If you don't have family ties in Cali, think seriously about coming back here while you are young. I am going on 69 and have taught Con Law here since 1984. I will be right back.

ak37bpt8 We tend to regret the things we don't do more than what we do. La Crosse is as you remember: not too large or small, no real crime, and we all smile and get along with one another. The cost of living is also very manageable. AND you have family here. Life unfolds in cycles. You look very young, and relocating gets harder as we get older. I would enjoy hearing your views. I have an interesting situation: my dad was 48 and my mom 94. I don't think of them as my parents but rather 2 ppeople I knew at separte times in my life. I hope you have warm memories of your mom.

It’s hard to take them away from friends and also involved in sports.my oldest is soon to be 20 and lives 2 blocks away from me. That lost their father a year ago unexpectedly which was my ex husband. Extremely hard. I’ll be 46 next month. My 2 aunts live in WI and a bunch of cousins. I really want to go to the Green Bay game Christmas Eve. Sounds like a blast ha.

I feel terrible for your children and for you to lose your husband at such a young age. My birthday is November 18th. How do you feel about getting older? I’m in good shape and live a healthy lifestyle. Had a health scare 7 years ago in which I almost lost my life. I could and should write a book.

ak37bpt8 The Green bay game at Christmastime would be a blast indeed. You need connections to get tickets. I can't help you here. I wonder how it would feel getting used to Wisconsin winters again. I realy do empathize with your children's situation--you are a fabulously devoted mom--but you need to look after yourself first. Children adjust, and you might not want to wait that long if you are seriously returning to WI. With family here and a stress free life, you should give it careful thought.
