This vintage Coach Buckled Saddle Pouch was made in New York City in the 1970s. It is made of glove-tanned brown leather and brass hardware, and has a detachable and adjustable strap. It can be worn as a shoulder or crossbody bag. There is some minor wear and scratches consistent with the age of the bag, but no major damage. There are natural wrinkles and flaws in the leather that add interest to this unique beauty. This bag has an amazing patina, and has clearly been well-loved. The leather is thick and smooth. The sizing on the Saddle Pouches seems to be a bit inconsistent, so I can't say whether it is a Small or Medium size. Please see photos for measurements of actual bag. This bag does not have any odors that are noticeable to me aside from the natural aroma of genuine vintage leather. My home is smoke-free. This bag has not been dunked while in my care, although I bought it pre-loved, so I can’t speak to its previous life experiences! Hardware was polished with a jewelry cloth, interior has been thoroughly vacuumed, and exterior was cleaned with Lexol 1 or Apple Leather Cleaner; conditioned with Bick 4 and Chamberlain’s Healing Balm on the edges. This is a beautiful vintage bag in excellent condition - if cared for, it will last a lifetime (and probably longer)! Please let me know if you have any questions!
