I bought this for a trip to Australia in 2019 and have enjoyed wearing it in cool weather here in Chicago. Overview: Light weight down jacket; not a winter parka. I live in Chicago and this was a good option in October / early November and March / April in the transition months. It is not for very cold weather or wind. Bomber style, hits at about hip height and is a fitted style. Hoodie with elastic cords to tighten around your face. Thumb holes in cuffs. Packable; see photo Two front zip pockets and an internal pocket (where it packs into itself; can be used as a pocket as well). Signs of wear: No stains or snags on the material. I was able to find one small hole from wear, located on the bottom of the zipper on the front of the jacket. it's possible there may be one or two more but I was not able to find any additional holes from wear. The cuffs and black stretchy material along the bottom of the jacket have some pilling. I also have the original storage bag for the jacket.
