This is an Louis Vuitton PM purse, was bought as a project purse and I have cleaned it up and made it useful. The strap is unbranded. Please look at photos closely as there are several call outs. The bottom corners were coming loose and they have been glued with leather glue, the hardware has been cleaned, but also glued back on, on one side where there is no handle. The one handle is still intact but has lots of wear. Zipper works great, I did have to use the zipper wax after I cleaned it with Brasso. Bricks Leather cleaner, and conditioner has been used on this and the bag is now softer. The purse looks 100 % better than it did when I received it. This bag is just not big enough for my needs and I had another one that works better for me. Just trying to get some of money back. The date is inside the purse and photographed. BA0947. would be great for redoing or just using parts if you chose to do so. Originally I bought it thinking I was going to make key chains, but just could not cut it up. I did carry it for a few nights out, I used a MK purse strap, the darker brown strap attached is unbranded. I do not normally work on purses, so by no means was anything done by a professional bag person. There is no odor that I can detect, this was purchased and shipped from Japan. The date code indicates a production date of: April 1997 in France. I am not using the word authentic, because I do not know enough about these purses and it did not come with a certificate.
