Beautiful dress, but the Chiffon is damaged on the right side of the skirt area. Please see the last picture.
You may be able to repair it or fix it enough to not notice when you wear it.

How low is the damage to the short? Is it close to the hem? I would likely have this altered so it is more midi or tea length rather than floor length and wondered if this would be cut off with the alterations?

@hedeens The damage is about 2" long, but only 1" from the seam. A new seam could be created. It's about 19" from the hem. I will add a video
