Bead, snowflake obsidian (natural), 10x6mm rondelle, B grade, Mohs hardness 5 to 5-1/2. Sold per 12” strand. Like flakes of snow floating against a deep black sky. The snowflake appearance in this volcanic glass is produced by internal crystallites formed as lava quickly cooled.
