Antique Takito TT Japan, Lusterware Tea Cups W Saucers, Hand-Painted 1920-30s 4 cups 5 saucers No chips, no cracks Handpainted lake scene on the saucers and cups have a boat and swan. White w Luster on the inside of each cup. The Takito company 1880-1948, is mostly known as one of those specializing on the Lustreware type of decoration originally developed by the Noritake company but pieces with moriage decoration in Moriage a'la Kyoto Satsuma on porcelain, are also common. Mark: "T T" in two rectangles/diamonds. Date: late 20s to early 1930s when this type of ware was in vogue.
