For your consideration is this absolutely stunning and one of a kind Cocktail Ring from an unknown maker. The piece is unmarked and I was unable to locate any comparibles for identification. It features awesome Octopus or Giant Squid Tentacles encasing two rough cut rutilated citrine stones and a rough cut goldtone nugget. The entire setting is assymetrical and measures 28 mm x 24 mm. The goldtone nugger measures 17 mm x 11 mm. One of the citrine stones measures 15 mmx 17 mm and the smaller stone measures 16 mm x 7 mm. Those measurements were taken while in the setting so the exact size may be off a millimeter or two. There is some light pitting to the bottom side of the ring and a tiny bit of verdigris still remains after polishing the ring. The ring tested as 14K gold with an acid test, but due to the verdigris, the gold is likely plated atop brass. The ring is adjustable, but very rigid. It is best to resize with a metal mandrel.
