These little pieces are so amazing and sought after! What a fun and super rare piece to see - piece crafted for SAKS FIFTH AVENUE! Rare Louis Kisslock Glasses case - Authentic as always! Pieces from this period are not date code. This little gem is a charmer and will protect your glasses in high style! Eye wear is "wearable art" after all! Smaller scale frames will fit nicely....in fact it's a split compartment inside. Here is some of it's wonderful history....Louis Vuitton licensed and collaborated with French Company of California, a luxury luggage manufacturer, to craft LV pieces in order to keep up with ultra high demand in the United States! Time frame was back in the 1970's through the early 1990's. As you can guess, due to the limited production time and differing characteristics....they are very rare to find and when found.....treasured! Some were even private labeled - such as for Saks or Neiman Marcus. This little cutie presents well! 6.5 x 3 x 1" approx. Other uses include Debit/Credit cards slipped inside. Perfect for lipsticks and cosmetics too. Snap kisslock functions great - tight! Lining nice - tad of wear at the hinges - and off you pull the entire lining out, there is fraying-pictures.
