@vtgimage it is absolutely ‘appropriate’ for a 53yr old. The piece is timeless and contemporary. I live in Los Angeles so I don’t wear it for most of the year, but it is a fantastic sweater for the cooler months or for special occasions/events that require effortless and refined attire.

@vtgimage the body of the sweater has a lot of stretch because if how it was knit. I have a relatively small chest so there is excess fabric around my torso. I doubt you would need to wear a minimizer.
