Big Oversize collar with button front, big pockets and slits for the arms. There is t a material content tag but it appears to be wool. The original price was $160, which is really pricey for that time period and it has a dry clean only tag on it. The price tag has the name Hartzell’s Rose & Sons on it. It was a store in my town back in the day. I could not find any information on “The Bird Cage” brand. This was a thrift find. Although it is new with the tags it has an old smell to it from age and where it was stored. Dry cleaning before wearing is highly recommended due to the age of the garment. Size is marked 8, but please refer to the many measurements that are provided in the listing. For size reference, my mannequin has a bust size of 34”, a waist size of 24” and hip size of 34”. This fits slightly big on her. In my best guess I would this is a modern 4 or 6. Ask questions before purchasing.
