Definitely real fur, but not sure what kind! Beautiful shades of grey, very soft and lightweight. Meant to be worn wrapped around the neck and closed with the attached hidden velcro. Not really the best design because as you can see in the photos some fur has gotten stuck to the velcro. However the velcro closure still works perfectly and you can't tell when it's on. Soft black velvet on the inner side that touches the neck. Length including velcro: 27" Length until end of fur: 23.5" Width of actual fabric: 3" Width with fur: 5.5"
