It is a water resistant, long (covers the bum) fleece jacket with 4 pockets and an attached hood.
The seasonal temperatures in your area and the level of insulation you need should help determine if this jacket fits your needs.

It’s a very nice, versatile piece. I don’t often see long fleece jackets - and the color is so neutral it looks great with everything.
