Gorgeous vintage Chanel bag in excellent condition. Minor wear on corners and edges. Color is a midnight dark blue. Looks black at first glance. Leather interior is in good condition with some slight color variation. 11.5” x 8.5” x 3”. There are no abnormal odors other than of leather and slight vintage mustiness.

shanalace I just put in an offer. I’m not a huge Chanel fan because most of the purses are small. Do you know the year this one was made? And is the leather soft and supple? Any odors? And you say condition is excellent?

thesier @shanalace hi, looking at Chanel decoder, it says anything with 7 digits starting with “0” was made 1986-88. There are noticeable odors. The piping is still in great condition which typically gets worn down first. There are the normal light marks which could maybe be buffed out.

shanalace @thesier what is the odor? Is it a moldy smell? I’ve had bad luck buying from back East because of the smells. I guess it depends on where they are stored.

thesier @shanalace sorry- that should have said “no” noticeable odors. If anything, smells like leather and maybe slight musty but nothing out of ordinary.
